Where can I buy KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauce?
KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauce is distributed nationally through Grocery, Mass Retailer (e.g. Kmart, Target, and Wal-Mart), and Warehouse/Club stores. The availability of specific flavors can vary. If your local grocery store does not carry your favorite flavor, they may be able to order it for you.
Do KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauces contain allergens?
All KC Masterpiece® products are labeled in accordance with the FDA food labeling requirements, including the Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act of 2004 (Title II of Public Law 108-282) which requires foods to be labeled that contain the major food allergens: milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat and soybeans. Although many flavors of KC Masterpiece® Sauce do not contain these ingredients, refer to the ingredients statement on the back of each KC Masterpiece® product to find this declaration.

No, KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauces do not contain MSG.
Are KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauces Kosher-Certified?
Yes, all KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauces are Kosher-Certified.
When barbecuing or broiling meats, when should you add KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauce?
Generally, you should baste foods during last 5-10 minutes of barbecuing or broiling with KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauce, as sauce may burn at high temperatures.
Can you use KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauce as marinade?
Yes, for low-temperature cooking, such as baking, you may use KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauce as a marinade. However, if broiling or barbecuing, we recommend you use KC Masterpiece® Marinades.
How long can I keep KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauce after I open it?
After opening, we suggest keeping the sauce for no longer than 6-9 months. Always refrigerate sauce after it is opened.
Do you own KC Masterpiece® Barbecue & Grill Restaurants?
No, the HV Food Products Company does not own these restaurants. Dr. Rich Davis, the inventor of KC Masterpiece® Barbecue Sauce, contracted with our Company to use the KC Masterpiece® name to open barbecue restaurants that feature the sauce. The first KC Masterpiece® Barbecue & Grill was opened in 1987 in Overland Park, Kansas.
SAFETY TIP:
To avoid contaminating sauce, never place dirty or used utensils, such as basting brushes, into the bottle and do not pour used sauce back into the bottle.
